This is a small portion of the series of photographs I took for Kayla’s senior pictures. I learned so much over the summer at my internship with A Moment in Time studio and I wanted to put all the knowledge I gained to use. I photographed her in a really beautiful alley way in the city. Afterwards I took her into the studio and shot her in her dresses and band uniform along with some traditional poses.
For this week’s assignment we were told to illustrate an alien abduction in a photograph without using anything obvious such as an alien or a ufo. Here are my results.
Photo Illustration Music project
This piece is inspired from a non lyrical piece of music by Panic! at the Disco called Intermission from the album, A Fever you can’t sweat out
For this Illustration project we were given the name of one object and we had to go out an illustrate in a photograph an interesting way to portray the object, a knife. For mine i decided to do a piece inspired by old films where a girl is tied to train tracks and i show different aspects of how she did or did not get off the track.

This was my very first project of the year and it was for photo illustration. Our class went to the studio and we were each given one hot light, a piece of white paper, a fork and an egg. We had to be as creative as possible to come up with experimentations to make beautiful and interesting photographs of such simple objects. They were to be black and white images and we needed to have about 10 final products. Here they are.
So it’s that time again! The very last time.. Senior year has begun and i’m in the begining of my 3rd week, getting started on my first projects of the year.
The classes I am taking are Photo Illustration, Photo Projects, Portfolio, Contemporary Literature and Non fiction writing.
Right before school started I took these photographs of the flowers in my mom’s flower garden. They were so bright, bold and colorful. I needed to photograph them.
I took a few other random photographs at the end of the summer also. Including the peaches I picked off the trees in the back yard and used to make peach jelly and peach smoothies. They were delicious!
